McCall Architecture would like to congratulate The Community Bank of Dublin-Laurens County on its beautiful new home. The bank moved into its new location in October of 2013.

This historic building was originally constructed by, and once home to, T. H. Smith, a local banker and businessman, in the early 1900s. The building is situated in the Commercial Historic District in Dublin, Georgia, has undergone various renovations and repairs over the years, and has served multiple functions in this community.

This most recent renovation, which transformed what was once a funeral home into an efficiently functioning banking facility, was designed by McCall Architecture and constructed by Garbutt Construction. McCall Architecture was invited to participate in this design/build renovation project by Garbutt Construction because of our experience in designing banking facilities, as well our experience in the renovation and rehabilitation of historic structures.

Read more about this beautiful new banking facility in this article which was published in the Winter 2013 Edition of the Georgia Communities First Magazine, an Official Publication of the Community Bankers Association of Georgia.
