Treatment Mall at Central State Hospital

This 24,700 sf new Treatment Mall is connected to the Payton Cook Building for forensic inpatients.  As requested by the Owner, we provided a non-institutional environment which resembles a college-like student center with abundant natural light and natural finish colors and materials. This new facility provides space for instructional and recreational activities, and for treatment and recovery programs for persons referred from the State’s criminal justice and corrections system.

This facility will provide support for staff at Central State Hospital in their efforts to accomplish their Mission:  “To be a center of excellence in the provision of comprehensive, responsive and compassionate care for individuals and their families.”
