MAFB Grassy Pond Recreational Complex

This project included the facilitation of the master planning process for the Grassy Pond Recreational Complex, which resulted in a proposed area development plan (ADP).

Located about 20 miles south of Moody Air Force Base (AFB), this 500-acre complex provides outdoor recreational activities for active military, DOD civilians, retirees, and the general public, including cabin rentals, boat rentals, RV sites, covered shelters, and fishing.

The ADP includes a summary of existing conditions and capacities and includes short and long term planning recommendations.

This project also included preliminary design for the renovation/expansion of the Grassy Pond Clubhouse and a new gatehouse.
