Lakeland Villa Convalescent Center for South Georgia Medical Center

McCall Architecture worked closely with the Owner and Construction Manager to design a new 39,000 sf skilled nursing and retirement home facility.  The facility includes 62 private bedrooms, each with a private bathroom.

This beautiful new facility includes a covered porch, two courtyards, spa/shower room, rehabilitation room, state-of-the-art patient beds, a beauty/barber shop and a new kitchen where meals are prepared for the residents of Lakeland Villa and patients of the hospital.  The kitchen is also used to prepare meals for Dogwood Café, located on the SGMC Lanier campus.

SGMC Lakeland Villa Administrator Geoff Hardy says, “The new facility will make it more efficient for us to meet the needs of residents. With two nursing stations, staff will be more accessible to the residents and upgraded technology will make it easier for staff to care for residents.”
